It is the intent and polity of ABHAY OCEAN to provide, to the satisfaction or our customers, products and services that meet contractual and regulatory requirements without deviating from internal objectives of quality, safety and cost effectiveness.

The Quality Management System is an important part of the ABHAY OCEAN Management System. It is based upon the requirement of ISO 9001 and equivalent standards. The system is defined in the Corporate Quality Manual and is further detailed in Operating Procedures and in project specific Quality Plans.

Effective improvement of the astern at all levels of the organization is achieved through a Total Quality Management (TQM) approach in which I am actively involved personally. the coordination of our TQM program has been delegated to the Corporate Quality Manager.

Each Department Manager or Area Manager, with guidance from the quality function, is responsible for the establishment and development of Operating Procedure in accordance with corporate objectives and for ensuring that they represent current working practices. They are also responsible for providing qualified personnel capable of working of these procedure in order to carry out work to the correct standard and verify that the quality of work performed is in the compliance with specified requirements.

Each Project Manager, with guidance from a Quality Assurance Representative, is responsible for developing and implementing a written Quality Plan which incorporates the specific requirements and the manner in which compliance with the plan will be verified.

It is a requirement within ABHAY OCEAN INDIA to inform Subcontractors and Suppliers that they have to reach a Quality level which is in accordance with an acceptable Quality standard that ensures adequate control of their work.
